Kimmel Eshkolot Architects : ウィキペディア英語版 | Kimmel Eshkolot Architects Kimmel-Eshkolot Architects is an Israeli architecture firm, founded in Tel Aviv, Israel in 1986, by Etan Kimmel and Michal Kimmel-Eshkolot. In their first years of practice, they were involved in the preservation and rehabilitation of Neve Tzedek, the historical neighborhood of Tel Aviv. Throughout the years they won several national competitions for the design of high-profile public projects in Israel, such as the new expansion of the government compound ("Kiryat Hamemshala") in Jerusalem,〔'( תכנית קריית בן גוריון יוצאת לדרך (Kiryat Ben Gurion program is underway) )', Jerusalem Municipality site, 15 December 2011.〕 the Davidson Museum〔Ruth Jacobson, ('Kimmel Eshkolot embeds modernity in Jerusalem’s layers of history at the Davidson Center, creating a three-dimensional journey through time' ), Architectural Record Magazine, July 2009.〕 in the Archaeological Park near the Western_Wall and the Memorial Center for Israeli military casualties in Mount Herzl.〔"()", Haaretz News, 21 April 2010.〕 In 2011 they won the Rechter Prize for Architecture, considered to be the most prestigious award for architecture in Israel.〔'(פרס רכטר יוענק למשרד "קימל-אשכולות" (Rechter Prize will be awarded to the office "Kimmel - Eshkolot") )' Rechter Prize Announcement, 20 July 2011.〕 They received the award for the design of a rehabilitation center for IDF disabled veterans, located in Be'er Sheva.
